Marriage Booster Retreats

Family Fest provides two retreat options for couples in your church. The Marriage Booster is a full-day retreat designed to strengthen couple’s love and commitment towards each other. The second program is Fan the Flame Evening for Couples. This is a two-hour evening program that can be connected to a dinner or dessert program.

Pete Larson is the Co-founder and Director of Family Fest Ministries, an organization dedicated to strengthening marriages and families through Christ-centered retreats and experiences. Through programs like the Winter Weekend, Summer Splash Family Camp, and the Marriage Booster Retreat, Pete has spent decades helping families grow closer to one another and to God.

Before launching Family Fest Ministries, Pete served as the youth and family minister at St. Patrick’s Church in Edina and was part of the staff at Youth Frontiers, where he led more than 600 retreats for students in grades 5–12. He also brought joy and encouragement to children and families as a host of The Wishing Well television program at the Minneapolis and St. Paul Children’s Hospitals.

A gifted communicator with a passion for people, Pete frequently speaks at churches, retreats, conferences, and family events, sharing practical wisdom, humor, and encouragement for everyday life and faith.

Pete and his wife, Lynn, live in Bloomington, Minnesota, and are the proud parents of two sons, Dan and Tim. When he’s not planning retreats or speaking, Pete enjoys running, playing guitar and mandolin, traveling, golfing, fishing, woodworking, and finding satisfaction in fixing just about anything that’s broken
