Marriage Booster Retreats

Family Fest provides two retreat options for couples in your church. The Marriage Booster is a full-day retreat designed to strengthen couple’s love and commitment towards each other. The second program is Fan the Flame Evening for Couples. This is a two-hour evening program that can be connected to a dinner or dessert program.

Family Fest partners with churches to offer training, teaching, and practical encouragement on building Christ-centered marriages and families. Executive Director Pete Larson and other Family Fest staff are frequently invited to speak at moms’ groups, men’s retreats, Cana dinners, parenting nights, marriage enrichment programs, and other church events designed to strengthen marriages and families.

Pete Larson is the Co-founder and Director of Family Fest Ministries which strives to strengthen families and marriages through a variety of retreats and programs such as the Winter Weekend and Summer Splash family camps and the Marriage Booster Retreat. Prior to starting Family Fest, Pete served as the youth and family minister at St. Patrick’s Church in Edina, and was on the staff of Youth Frontiers leading over 600 retreats for 5th through 12th grade students. He was also a host of The Wishing Well T.V. show at the Minneapolis & St. Paul Children’s Hospitals. Pete often speaks at church youth groups, conferences, and retreats. Pete lives in Bloomington, MN with his wife Lynn. They have two sons Dan (33) and Tim (28). In his free time he enjoys running, playing guitar and mandolin, traveling, golf, fishing, woodworking, and fixing things that are broken.
