Your chances of being accepted increase greatly if your family is coming to camp. The KC fee ($170) will be added to your family's camp balance. If your family is not attending camp, you will be invoiced $170 in the weeks prior to camp. Please talk to Barb or Pete if you are interested in a scholarship.

I understand that being a KC is an honor and privilege and really, really fun! I know that Family Fest is looking for young people who are serious about their journey of faith, who love kids, and who have a desire to grow in their own personal relationship with Christ. As a Family Fest KC I have a desire to strengthen my faith and to grow spiritually. I promise to share my life in Christ by example and by word with campers, families and other KC's. I am entering into this KC job responsibility with a positive and supportive attitude. I promise to sacrifice personal desires in the interest of campers and their peers. I will model what it means to be a Christian by the choices I make, including not using bad language, drugs or alcohol. I will be a positive role model. I have prayerfully considered my role as a KC and believe that I am a good candidate. I have read and agree to this statement above.

In consideration for participating at the Family Fest Ministries, Inc. (“Family Fest”) camp, the participant or his/her parent or legal guardian if participant is under eighteen (collectively “Camper”) agrees to release, indemnify, and discharge Family Fest, its employees, agents, participants, volunteers or other persons or entities acting on their behalf, as follows: 1. Camper understands that participation in the activities conducted by Family Fest entails unanticipated risks which could result in injury to Camper and/or Camper’s property. Camper’s attendance at Family Fest activities is voluntary, and Camper has elected to attend camp in spite of the risks. Camper expressly accepts and assumes all such risks related to such activities, and waives any and all claims against Family Fest. Camper acknowledges that if injured during participation in the activities of Family Fest, Camper may be found by a court of law to have waived his/her right to maintain a lawsuit against Family Fest. 2. If during the Family Fest event my minor child listed above requires medical assistance, I authorize the Family Fest staff or volunteers to make any necessary decisions until I can be reached. 3. Camper grants permission to Family Fest to photograph, record and/or videotape Camper and Camper’s family members, and grants permission to Family Fest to use these photographs, recordings and/or videotapes for promotional purposes only. I have read and agree to this statement above.

Thank you so much for filling out the KC application. We may not be able to take all applicants. We will get back to you as soon as possible, once we know how many families are attending and how many teachers and KC’s are needed. Please check with Pete or Barb regarding the KC scholarships.
